Westwood/countax Chipper Shredder

Clipper/Shredder. Works with most Countax and westwood ride on Mowers. Has had very little use. Probably had it hooked up only a handful of times, one was to test it as you see in the photos. Needless to say the tractor, small child, or anything else in the photos is not included. Been sitting around most of its life, can t justify keeping it, in very good condition apart from some peeling paint, and surface rust, please see photos. This is a substantial machine- not your average B Q shredder. If required I can demonstrate it to the buyer, but it does what it says on the tin. This is what the manufacturer said about it. The Countax Chipper Shredder attaches to the tractor in place of the PGC and run by the Power Take Off, it delivers about 90% of the engine’s power to the chipping and shredding mechanisms. The shredding mechanism reduces the volume of garden waste by twelve to one. You can chip and shred small branches up to 65mm (2.5”) in diameter and turn garden refuse and hedge clippings into soil improving compost. 65mm is BIG (but they down rated it from 75mm which I m sure it would take no problem) This is the MK 2 the last they produced of them. It appears to still have the original safety goggles in its storage compartment, comes with a manual. I very much doubt you will get it in a hatch back, or most estate cars without some dismantling which I have never done. And it is heavy man. Pick up only from DA12, 10 mins down the A2 from the M25. Cash on collection much preferred.
