COUNTAX/WESTWOOD 44 INCH HIGH GRASS MULCHING DECK. The Countax HGM deck [high grass mulching deck] can be fitted to all A series tractors, And K series tractors [with Kawasaki liquid cooled engines] as well as to the D 18/50 and the DLN tractors. It will also fit the Countax/JCB YANMAR DIESEL tractor, and the WESTWOOD V20/50, plus the V25/50 version. PURPOSE This is a very versatile deck, being suitable for cutting overgrown areas, where nettles and brambles have been allowed to thrive. It will also cope with rough pasture land, where grass is tufted, and terrain is uneven. Grass verges with varied terrain can also be mown. Short grass such as formal lawns can also be cut and finely cut [mulched] using this deck. In short, this is a strongly built deck, with six blades, side skids, and curtain chains along the front and rear edges. A good match for the largest tractors that Countax/Westwood make. Pictures show grass that was cut here on JAN 23rd 2017 using a similar deck powered by a K 20/50. The grass was wet, but I needed to field test the mower so I went ahead and cut it.
