Westwood 1600 Twin Briggs And Staton

I have owned the mower for 5 years and has been used to cut a grass runway for model aeroplanes. It s not needed any more as the club now has a full time grounds man with his own mower. I have fitted all new belts including the toothed drive belt to the cutting deck so they have plenty of use left them . New blades, but these could do with a sharpening after the season. New seat, the last was torn and looked shabby. The rear sweeper has new pick ups and a new net over the collector box which has also had a new back fitted. Lots of other bits and pieces to keep it running and sounding nice. I did charge the battery but this needs replacing as I don t think it s going to work next time the key is turned, but will work from a jump start.The mower is in used condition but for a 1986 model it actually looks good and much better than some I have seen on here. The gear lever can sometimes get stuck but in first, but will release when wiggled. I have run out of time to have a look at it but im sure it would be easily fixed by some oneSo this is a fully working 16hp mower that can be put to use straight away and will offer many years of mowing to come!
