This tiller is characterised by its dual-direction tines, it can be set to rotate in reverse which is perfect when preparing areas for seeding. Or forward, ideal if you’re breaking-up large areas of compacted virgin ground. The tines themselves give a working-width of 46cm and have been heat-treated for extra strength. The rear tine-tiller has a highly powerful 250cc 6.5hP Briggs Stratton engine, making light work of maintaining your kitchen garden or allotment. The T450 uses an overhead valve cylinder layout which works to ensure sound levels, fuel costs and harmful exhaust emissions are all kept to their lowest possible levels. The dual-element air-filter and a cast-iron crankshaft combine to maximise the engine life span. The provision of a reverse gear aids manoeuvrability, as do the individually engageable wheels. Additional features include a front-mounted counterweight for optimum balance, and a height-adjustable handlebar, which makes it possible to achieve the perfect operating position.
