Mountfield Mirage Petrol Mower (made By Ransomes) Briggs & Stratton, Push Along

This mower is a Mountfield Mirage push mower. The cut width is 18 and it is powered by a Briggs Stratton Quantum 4-stroke petrol engine. The mower was originally made by Ransomes for Mountfield. This is a real quality machine with an aluminium deck that won t rot out like a steel one or bend and crack like plastic. The mower is in really good condition and is a good starter. I have had it regularly serviced with an oil change and new plug every year regardless. It s all complete apart from a front wheel hub cap but this is just cosmetic. I have been using the mower to cut a large lawn for a friend but it is no longer needed as the owner is moving house. You simply cannot get a mower of this quality these days and I d be keeping it if I had a lawn big enough to justify it.
