MOUNTFIELD MASCOT 4HP BRIGGS AND STRATTON 18” PUSH MOWERHi and welcome to my page.Here we have one of my late father’s lawnmowers.It’s a 18” Briggs and Stratton push mower, he bought this many years ago to cut the embankment on his property as his lawn tractor would not go up it, it’s a good little mower but has no auto drive and as he got older he found it harder to push up the embankment so bought a auto drive Honda mower instead.It’s a well built and sturdy little mower, the engine starts and runs well with no smoke, knocks, rattles or leaks, the height adjustment all works and it does everything it’s suppose to do.The bed is good with no rust and the grass collection basket good with no splits or cracks.It’s not the biggest lawnmower but you can still cut a fair sized lawn with it, I think my father kept it as a backup in case the Honda broke down and as he kept it, it was cleaned and maintained along with the rest of his stuff.It has been in dry storage for the last two and a half years while his financial affairs have been sorted out, we put fresh fuel in it and it started quickly and runs well.I have started the bidding at £40 and is for collection however I can deliver within 20 miles of BS37 8TT after paypal payment and fuel costs (to be arranged with winner).If you need any other info or wish to view before auction end please message me.Auction will run to end, no offers please.Will add more pictures tomorrow.Thanks for looking at my page.
