Mountfield 827h-b Ride On Mower Immaculate. Hydraulic, Briggs & Stratton Engine

This is my much loved Mountfield 827H ride on mower. It was bought from Godfreys Garden Machinery Sevenoaks in March 2013 and has been well looked after. It has been pretty much cleaned down after every use and is like new. There are a couple of little scratches where I ve obviously gone too close to the bushes but is in immaculate condition. There is also a little crack in the plastic which I just discovered when taking the pic now for ebay. You can just about see it in the pics and is under the speed control. Its very hard to see. I am selling it as we are moving to a house with a much smaller garden where the ride on is not necessary. I have a spare key. I have all the original receipt, bag, manuals and charge as can be seen in the pics. They are are currently selling on Mountfield website for £1449 and if you add the Briggs and Stratton engine that would be £1549. I negotiated hard and got it down to £1350 at Godfrey s. I also have a couple of videos and more high res pics if you would like me to send them. There is a max of 12 on ebay. This is the Hydraulic version which means you dont have to pull a lever to go from forward to reverse or vice versa. Believe me this is a must. DO NOT GO FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN HYDRAULIC. The amount of changes of direction you have to do even in a big garden, if you were pulling a lever every time it would be an absolute pain. When I bought it, I was so close to going for the manual as it was £200 cheaper. Best decision I ever made and to be honest the sales guys at Godfrey s should have explained the benefit a lot more. I think it is even more important to go for Hydraulic on this size of ride on than the bigger ones that service bigger gardens. This ride on is ideal up to 0.75 acres and typically at that size of garden or less you have more turns and change of directions to do than larger gardens - you definitely do not want to pulling on a lever every time to go from reverse to forward or vice versa. I also upgraded to the better more powerful Briggs Stratton engine. This was another £100 on top but was a no brainer for me. I had a Mountfield push lawn mower with a Briggs Stratton engine before and over the 14 years I had it, it never let me down and started first time. So going for the same combination this time with the ride on was definitely the way forward for me. I just wanted the reliability and not to worry about it starting every time. You hear so many horror stories and I didn t want the hassle of having to fall back on the pull cord to start it. It has certainly never let me down and was money well spent. It has always started first time every time. Every winter I have taken the battery out for recharge. Every time I finish cutting the grass I disconnect the battery and give the whole thing a clean. It even has a nice connection for the hose to flush through and clean the blades. Obviously it is collection only from my home in Bexley, Kent. Easy and fun to use, the Mountfield 827H Compact Rider is an ideal ride-on mower for smaller areas. It is powered by the more powerful Briggs Stratton 950 series 233cc engine which is an upgrade from the standard 224cc Mountfield Series 5750. It has an electric key start engine and has a hydrostatic transmission. The 66cm working width cutter
