Mcculloch M13592rb Ride On Lawn Mower Tractor 36in Deck 13.5 Briggs & Stratton

McCulloch M13592RB Ride-On Lawn Mower I have owned this tractor from new and it has been brilliant! However, we ve asked it to cut a lot of thick wet grass which has finally taken it s toll and ended the life of the blade clutch. You can buy these from garden centres and on eBay but we couldn t get one for a 2 week period at the start of the summer so we had to buy a brand new one as the grass in our paddock grows so fast. I have kept it over the summer thinking I would use it as a tow tractor and do some spiking but it has just sat in the garage for 3 months and I can t now justify the space it is taking up for another winter season. It started first time as it always has apart from last summer when the battery died so I got a new one - the Briggs Stratton engine in these things is bullet-proof and unfortunately it s proved too powerful for the cutting unit because it couldn t keep pace with engine! So I am selling it as it - you can ditch the blade deck and use it as a garden tractor, it has the tow bar hitch for the standard trailers and fixtures plus it very powerful and will pull almost anything. Or you could buy a new clutch and re-assemble the drive then use it as mower again. I think the clutch is £300 but there are many suppliers you can check with. Husqvarma have re-branded this tractor and I think they may supply parts cheaper than McCulloch but please check first. The engine is the 13.5hp Briggs Stratton petrol engine 344ccThe blade deck is a twin bladed 36in cutting unitIt is a 6-speed and very quick!I have all the manuals and a spare set of keys somewhere It s been well used so has a few battle scars and the following minor issues:- -The battery cover/drinks holder has fallen off and been lost-The OSR tyre has a slow puncture-The adjustable deck height lever button has fallen off so you need to apply a bit of manual persuasion to lift the deck-One of the headlights has a loose connection so the light flickers a bit when mowing in the dark (after dark is usually when guests think it ll be fun to take the mower out for a spin after a bottle of wine and not to actually cut the grass)-The blades are a couple of years old so I would replace them if you re going to fix the cutting deck-The grass shute that goes under the seat and blows the grass either into the box or loose into the air has come loose and needs re-fixing plus it has worn down a bit where it s dropped onto the blades a couple of times I replaced this mower with a more expensive German unit and I made a big mistake - this McCulloch is a far better machine and I wish I hadn t listened to the salesman. The McCulloch has a really light clutch that has a low bite point so it s easy for anyone to drive but my new one is really heavy and you need to have 4ft long legs to get it down to the bite point. Also the central grass shute is brilliant - my new one throws it out at the side and just leaves clumps of grass everywhere and looks very messy. The McCulloch can either be used with the massive collection box or if you take it off the mower throws grass out the back evenly with no clumps (you do get covered in grass cuttings though when going down-wind!). Please look at the photos to see what I mean - they were taken today after using the new mower on Sunday and you can
