Mcculloch 450 Series Petrol Rotary Push Mower With Briggs & Stratton Engine

This sale is for a McCulloch 450 Series rotary petrol push mower powered by a Briggs Stratton Classic 148cc 4-stroke engine, for which spares are easily available. This mower has been serviced every year since new and the blade has been sharpened each time. The width of cut is 40cm (16 ), and the height WAS adjustable but has been fixed into the 2nd hole (see pic) giving a medium height cut every time. The whole deck is made of a very tough plastic - much better than the normal thin sheet metal that rusts very quickly! The total weight is only 18kg. It can be used with or without a grassbox. This huge grassbox again is made of rigid plastic with generous air holes to allow the cuttings to be collected even when wet, unlike the fabric type. The handle folds for storage by partially unscrewing a large black plastic screw on each side. This can be done by hand, no tools req d. Starting is very easy. Just fill the tank with petrol, press the priming bulb 3 times and operate the pull cord. (For safety there is a cut-out switch at the top of the handle which needs to be held in at the same time.) There is no cold-start choke or throttle adjustment needed. It couldn t be simpler! In short this is an excellent bargain available For Collection free from Watnall, Nottingham (Nr Junction 27 of M1)
