Honda V-twin 2114 Ride-on Lawn Mower

Honda 2114 Ride on mower. I have owned this since 2008 and it has been used to cut my personal lawn. I have had it serviced by the guy who sold it to me on a yearly basis. It has skipped a year, so now really needs a service. This mower starts and it cuts the grass, but you can see it is old. There are cracks in the plastic, the mower deck is rusty and probably not even. The covers for the belts need attaching properly. The belts may not be tight enough. The blades probably need sharpening or replacing (but they work). One front and one back tyre lose air. I ll ensure these are filled with air for collection. Basically, as I say, it needs a good service. The pictures probably flatter this mower. It is looking tired and battered. The things I can guarantee: it starts and it cuts. The battery has been reliable, good and never gone flat. The only new items are the two spark plugs that I have just replaced. Please look at the pictures as the mower s condition is not great and it has seen better days. That is why I am starting bidding at 99p with no reserve. I am selling because when I bought a new house I bought their mower too, which is newer. Otherwise I would have had this one serviced and sorted out properly and just carried on with it. The brakes work, but not well. They slow it down to almost nothing but don t always quite stop it. I had this before and the guy always cured it at the service. The gear selection is near the control that starts the blades working and the plastic between the two is missing. The plastic at front of mower is missing. None of this stops it working. There is cracking in other bits of plastic, the grass collection unit is not in the best condition either. To be honest, this mower is rubbish at collecting wet grass and always was. It ll cut fine but it only really collects well when the grass is bone dry. Some stats: An electric start v-twin, O.H.C 14H.P Honda engine. A 36 twin bladed rear discharge cutting deck. the blades are contra-rotating. A 5-speed and reverse transmission, controlled by foot controlled clutch/brake mechanism. Rear collection box with extendable tilt handle. Front working headlights. I have one key for it, that s all I ever had. I have tried to be as honest as possible with this listing as I don t want to waste your time or mine. It starts, it cuts but it has seen much better days. Bidding starts at £0.99p with no reserve.
