Honda Petrol Hr1950 Self Propelled With Roller.12 Months Warranty

I am a Honda specialist and enjoy what I do.This is why I give 12 months warranty on all my mowers and have many happy customers who come back to have them serviced every year. As I carry out a full rear roller/gearbox removal and strip down, main dealers could not afford to do this. So what happens is the grass builds up between the two half s of the rollers with the gearbox in between and wears the gearbox oil seals causing the gearbox to loose all of its oil. So when you hear of bad reports on this model and the top of the range 21 Honda pro about gearbox and roller problems, this could be avoided by better servicing. I can now machine out the gearbox casings on the out put splined roller shaft and fit Phosphor bronze bushes. as this part of the casing is what wears when the gearbox runs low on oil. From new this shaft runs through both half s of casings with out any bearings. As most of you know if you have had one of these rear roller models the gearbox alone is £327.00 plus fitting. This HR1950 I have for sale has similar rollers and gearbox as the Honda HRH536 PRO only difference being is that the rollers and shorter and the gear box has different ratio gears. This machine will last you a life time if looked after and correctly serviced. Very powerful 5HP engine for a 19 cut machine, so will easily cope with longer grass if required to do so. The new equivalent 19 inch Honda is just over £1000.00 but has a plastic deck and gearbox. I have completely stripped and reconditioned this machine, which takes between 40 to 50 hours. I know you wont find a better example of this model any where. WORK COMPLETED Completely stripped machine, sand blasted deck. Primed with aluminium etch primer, two coats of ordinary primer.Finished with 4 coats of silver top coat ENGINE stripped and cleaned out carburettor, cleaned out fuel tank. Replaced oil, spark plug and air filter.Replaced start recoil cord. BLADE BRAKE Removed and replaced both bearings, clutch plate is hardly worn and did not warrant replacing. REAR ROLLER /GEARBOX ASSEMBLY Replaced rear roller bearings. Completely stripped gearbox and replaced bearings and oil seals. Filled with new gear oil Reassembled complete machine and tested. Starts first pull with out any smoke and every thing works as it should. Set governor and carburettor mixture. Will consider part exchange for Honda,Danarm,or Lawn flight for spares or repair .Sorry no other make as I don t consider them to be worth all the time and effort I put in them.
