Hayter Spirit 41 rear roller push lawnmower. This auction is for a Hayter Spirit 41 rear roller push lawnmower in very good/excellent working order. YOM is 2010, so not very old at all. It has a composite deck made from cast alloy and plastic mouldings, so will not rust. It does have the usual scuffs and scrapes to deck sides, which tend to occur from normal use. The 4 corners of the grassbag do have some wear on them, but this does not affect capture of grass clippings. Grassbag is otherwise in very good condition. The OPC cable does have a kink in it, which has most likely occurred by storing with the handles folded down. However, the cable is not trapped and works perfectly well. It has just had a full service to include: New carburettor and diaphram (genuine Briggs and Stratton), foam air filter clean and reoil, oil change, new spark plug, pair of new handle locking knobs and bolts, new bearing support bracket, blade sharpen and balance, OPC cable checked and lubricated, front wheels removed and bearings checked/cleaned/lubed. I have probably done much more as well, but this is as much as I can remember for now. Starts first pull every time with no smoking, hunting or rattling. Also, cuts very well and single lever 7 position HOC adjuster works perfectly. Last photo was taken after using the Hayter for a final test. Lawn is not 100%, but it does show how well it cuts.
