Instead of wheels, the Flymo XL 500 hovers just above the ground on an air cushion. This mower uses an impeller, located above the blades, to push air downward, causing the mower to float. This mower can tackle slopes of up to 45 degrees, and it is recommended for use in small or tight spaces because of its high degree of manoeuvrability. The Flymo XL500 Push Mower is lightweight, weighing only about 15 kg. The Flymo XL 500 has three cutting heights: the lowest cutting height is 10 mm and the highest is 30 mm. This push mower has a cutting width of 50.5 centimetres, and features a 160 cc engine that runs on petrol. The handle on the Flymo XL500 Push Mower folds, allowing for easy transportation and storage of the mower, which can also be outfitted with transport wheels to make it easier to transport to the mowing area.
