Castel Garden J92 36″ Ride On Mower Needs A New Bearing .

Selling as spares or repair since one of the alloy blade bearing housings has a tiny crack that is allowing some movement of the shaft and throwing the blade drive belt off so not reliable for cutting until fixed. Local dealer quotes £140 parts and labour but the crack is just round one bolt hole so I think a new hole could be drilled and used to secure the existing housing in which case it is a nil cost fix other than time to get deck off etc. This is a solid well maintained machine, cleaned down after every use and dry stored. New drive and cutting deck belts fitted and serviced last season by Mike Garwood, AltonNew battery and rear tyres c3 years ago, Starts first touch, powerful briggs and stratton engine and is smooth in all gears.Fitted with 300w LED headlights Before the bearing case cracked it cut beautifully. I would have it repaired (estimate given at £140 part and labour by mike garwood of alton ) but it s no longer needed as was too big for what I need and I bought a smaller mower a while back.
