Briggs & Stratton 4 Stroke 3hp Engine

3HP Briggs Stratton 4 Stroke Horizontal Shaft Engine. It came from a Landmaster Rotavator and has a 2.5 Picador Pulley Wheel on the shaft. There appears to be an extra crank support bearing. It has a brand new air filter foam, has been given a clean up here and there as well as a lick of paint, new spark plug, new starter rope, new recoil handle and on oil change. It has a Pulsa Jet Carburetor which has been cleaned with carb cleaner and a 5 litre petrol tank. I ve put a couple of videos on eBay showing the engine running. Can t embed video on eBay but if you pop to YouTube and do a search for the item number 142434045892 you should find them. If your in West Hull msg me if you d like to pop over and view it. It does start but not always on the first pull. Whilst running it does make some occassional odd noises. I usually stop it using the engine stop wire but following filming the lower video it stopped on it s own after running for about 2 minutes. I don t know enough to fix it myself but governor components appear to be missing. A corner of the petrol tank has been repaired with fibreglass or plastic at some point. One of the holes for the bolts attaching the carburetor to the engine block also needs a thread repair. The rotating guard from in the blower is missing, although I ll include one I ve modified to fit (not shown in the photos). The blower housing appears to have come from a different engine so probably has the wrong model number. There seems to be a small hole in the side of the exhaust, you can see some black that came out in some of the photos although that may be from when I was squirting WD40 in to loosen the original rusted exhaust thread. There may be other things I m not aware of. I can post it but it s pretty heavy and there ll be a couple of days delay whilst I drain the (new) oil and petrol so I d suggest collection in person from West Hull instead. Sold as seen.
