Fully automatic charger that is safe to be left connected to the battery and will maintain the battery in a fully charged state when left connected, so it is ready to go when you need it. The original chargers do not have a maximum voltage level so will damage batteries if left connected, and have no indicator to show when charging is complete. This charger is fully automatic and controlled and safe to be left connected. This will help to prolong the life of your battery pack as it stops over charging of the battery. Tips to prolong the life of your battery pack - Use a quality charger such as this to avoid overcharge. - Charge the battery fully after use. Second stage of charging (over 80%) can take many hours. Maintenance Phase - once the battery is fully charged, the charger maintains the battery in a fully charged state without overcharging. Any charge lost due to self-discharge is replaced, meaning you do not need to do top up charges.
