Tecumseh Lawnmower Engine For A Flymo Lawnchief Rl 400 Garden Machinery

Here is a TECUMSEH ENGINE FROM A FLYMO LAWNCHIEF RL 400 LAWNMOWER. It comes with the blade and plastic fan. This was a superb engine for starting easily and revving sweetly so it would cut at quite fast speeds - the problem was the plastic FLYMO frame/deck - it went brittle and was not safe so decided to keep this lovely engine and find another deck which needed an engine - well looked for few years and then forgot about it and the replacement is still running ok so this has to go. It has been stored for several years, so has a bit of surface rust/ dust etc in places, but turned over with a gentle pull easily, the tank looks clean as it was emptied at the time, the rubber primer feels a bit stiff on the carburettor, it still has the throttle cable attached and the blade has a couple of small knicks and is obviously not new but will cut perfectly adequately for 99% of gardeners until they want a new one.Please only buy this if you are capable of carefully and safely fitting this to another machine. It could be very dangerous if done wrongly. Due to the nature of engines and after several years - no guarantee can be given. This is a 4 stroke engine - runs on neat petrol.
