Mtd Lawnflite 604 Tractor Mower/ride On. Free Delivery In Sussex

I m only selling this (reluctantly) because I m moving home and it will be a little difficult doing a three point turn in a window box! I bought this from a main agricultural/landscaping equipment dealer last year. It is my understanding that the previous owner had it from new and had it regularly serviced. He part exchanged it simply because it was starting to look old! (It s a mower, not a car for goodness sake!). Unfortunately mowers do not come with service history, so I have to trust what I was told. Please note that I have not serviced it this season simply because I know I would be moving. I have however fitted a brand new seat because the old one was worn and uncomfortable. Everything works as it should. It starts, runs, cuts and collects grass very well. The deck is in remarkable condition. It looks like the previous owner looked after it and cleaned the underside of the deck after every use (the reason why they all rust is that people leave wet grass inside it when it s parked up) I gave it a coat of paint because it was looking a bit scratched and scuffed. This means that the safety stickers are no longer in place, but surely everyone knows not to stick your hands or feet underneath when the engine is running? The tyres are all good. They hold air and show no signs of perishing. The collecting bag shows signs of wear and has a small hole (see pic), but it still works fine. The bonnet has a small dent and subsequent loss of paint, but I don t think it will rust given the type of metal underneath. The lights do not work. I can t even find a switch. If you really feel the need to go mowing in the dark, you should be searching on here for self help books, not a new mower! All the safety related microswitches work. The engine switches off as soon as you get off the thing - a bit of a nuisance sometimes, but I suppose the manufacturers had to design it taking into account the stupidity of some. With regard to delivery, providing it sells either at or near the Buy It Now figure, I m happy to put it on my trailer and take it anywhere in Sussex free of charge. Elsewhere, or if I end up accepting a lower offer, by negotiation. So there you have it, a good little mower with a reasonable cutting size (I think it s 30 ) for a reasonable price. Sorry, but I am selling it sold as seen , so no returns please as I probably won t have anywhere to put it by then! I suppose I ought to add that I m not a desperate seller and won t be selling for silly money, so please don t waste your time with daft bids. :) Now the boring stuff. You bid, you buy, NOT turn up and try to negotiate a lower price. I m a fair man and treat sellers with respect when I m buying, so I expect the same to be done to me.
