Mtd Lawnflite 505 Ride On Mower And Lawn Tractor

This auction is for my MDT LAWNFLITE 505 Wispa-blo ride on mower with grass box. It is in thoroughly good working order and I’ve just cut the grass with it – as you can see behind in the photos! It is a 30 cut with a Briggs Stratton 11 HP engine and has 6 forward and 6 reverse gears. It has a key start – and starts and runs well. It has had a new battery last year and a new steering quadrant recently (you can see it in the underside photo) which has transformed the steering. Blades have been sharpened and it cuts and collects the grass very effectively. There are 6 cutting height settings and the belts are all in good order. The tyres are fine and hold their pressure. The cutting deck is a 30 cut Wispa-blo and has had some attention – with a couple of plates where there are some rust holes. It means it is not the prettiest – don t expect a rust free deck - but it is effective! There is a separate rear discharge chute which you can fit if you don’t want to collect the grass clippings and use it without the grassbox/ collection bag. The bag has had a couple of repairs along the way but works fine. The seat has a couple of holes in the cover. So, in summary, a thoroughly decent machine, that should do the job for many seasons to come. I am only selling it as I’ve inherited a younger machine and don’t have room for both!
