For Sale is a Mountfield ride on mower model number 224H ( 122cm 48inch cut). Having belonged to my elderly parents this lawnmower has had relatively light use in its two years of ownership by them and as such only has 44.8 hours of use (shown on the dashboard). It has been used only for a their private lawn of 1.3 acres. It has been service regularly although we could not find paperwork when clearing their house. This is the top of the range model which Mountfield offer and retails at £3,999. All elements of the mower run as they should with the Hydrostatic drive making it extremely easy to use with a large 122cm (48 inches)cut. It benefits from a twin cylinder Briggs and Stratton Intek engine. There is slight cosmetic damage to the bonnet which got caught on a branch when it was new and broke a small piece of plastic off. It does not affect the performance of the machine in any way. The mower comes with a back grass box (which can be removed) you only need to pull a lever to empty so there is no need to get off the seat when mowing a mulching attachment and a further attachment which allows the grass to be ejected without collecting. There is also a battery charger. We had the mower delivered to our address by a trailer but the winning bidder will need to arrange collection themselves please. Please bear in mind the width of the bottom deck is 49 inches. Inspection is welcome before end of auction by arrangement but please no haggling after the winning bid as I have described everything accurately.
