MTD 148cc 18 (46cm) Optima Self Propelled Petrol Lawn Mower The MTD 46 SPB is a self propelled, petrol lawn mower, that forms part of the Optima range of quality lawn mowers. It is designed to suit medium to large sized lawns up to 1500m2. It is powered by a Briggs Stratton 500 E Series OHV engine. The overhead valve design locates the valve and spark directly above the piston in the centre of the combustion chamber, resulting in the hottest and most efficient combustion of the fuel air mixture. This delivers the combined benefits of more power, less fuel consumption, fewer emissions and lower noise. The unit is self-propelled and equipped with a 46cm robust steel deck, the cutter deck is fitted with special hi-lift blades which give a clean cut and efficient collection. The cutting height can be centrally adjusted between 6 different cutting heights depending on grass conditions and your mowing requirements. You can choose between collecting the grass clippings into the substantial 60 litre capacity fabric grass box or rear discharging them back onto the lawn. The grass box has a large opening for ease of emptying, while the ergonomic handles are height adjustable to three different positions for optimum user comfort. The handles fold, allowing for easy transportation and more compact storage between uses.
