Countax C38h Ride On Mower – Honda Engine With Collector And Extra Mulching Deck

I am selling my Countax ride on mower as the increasing amount of garden buildings, decking and flower beds in my garden means I no longer get to use it. For the last couple of years it has been easier to mow the smaller areas of lawn with a petrol powered walk along so the Countax has remained in the shed. I originally bought this second hand about 7 years ago and it hasn t missed beat in all the time I have owned it but I need the space and it deserves to go to someone who might actually get some use out of it. It is powered by 13hp single cylinder Honda engine and has hand controlled hydrostatic transmission. It is currently fitted with a 36 inch cutting width IBS rear discharge deck and a 300 litre capacity powered grass collector however I also have a 36 inch mulching deck which I will sell with the mower. (pictures of mulching deck to follow). The mower was regularly serviced when it was in use but hasn t been serviced since it was laid up in 2012 - although it does have new engine oil in it from this season and the battery has been topped up throughout this period. It shows the usual signs of wear and tear found on a used Countax mower such as slight chipping of the paint in the deck and grass collector however it is in a reasonable and presentable condition and still cuts/collects well. The battery was changed during its last service in 2011. I have tried to show as much of the mower as I can on the pictures but here is a list of things I know that are wrong with it:The ignition and parking brake lights do not extinguish when the mower is in use - see the photoThe viewing panel on the grass collector came off and is held in with duck tape around the edgesThere is a small tear on the seatThe grip on the end of the grass collector tilt handle foam is held on with duck tapeThe headlights don t work - although I have never actually tried to fix them as I don t mow my lawn in the dark All of these things are reflected in the ridiculously low start price on this auction. I have no way of delivering this mower so it will have to be collection only I am afraid. On 01-Jul-14 at 12:11:25 BST, seller added the following information: OK I have managed to dig out the mulcher deck that has been hidden at the back of the shed since I bought the mower. The blades were serviced when I first got it so are still sharp and true however there is some damage to the plastic belt cover on the top. This doesn t affect the operation of the deck but is probably something that you would want to replace if you used this deck. I have found a new cover on the web for £40 or so - you might get one cheaper on ebay. I am still trying to work out how to add more pictures of this deck I also notice that the listing says I will give a 14 day refund . This isn t the case as per my main description text - this mower is sold without any warranty so please satisfy yourself that you are happy with it before taking it away. thank you On 01-Jul-
