Briggs & Stratton 12.5hp I/c Spec Engine, Suit Ride On Mower

Hi and welcome to my auction for a 12.5 Hp I/C spec Briggs Stratton engine. It has just been serviced ie, fresh oil, new plug and filter etc so is ready to be put to work. I ve sold many of these engines in the past and this has to be one of the cleanest I ve ever had, it recently came out of ride on mower with a rotten deck having not run for many years so I don t think it s done a lot of work judging by the condition it s in. I ve cleaned the carb and run it for a few minutes, - started fine and ran well (it hunted a bit on tickover but I think it will settle down once it s run for a little while, I usually find this is the case anyway). It has great compression and turns over smoothly. The exhaust fitted at present is the larger box style but if you require a pepper pot one I can supply it with that instead. There a few scratches/chips to the red paint on the cowling but nothing that will affect the performance any way, like I say the condition is really very good for a used engine. It has a V belt pulley on it at the moment, you can have this for free if you require it if but if not it ll come without just for ease of packing. I have listed postage as £22 which is for UK mainland delivery, (if you live in the outer hebrideas etc it will be more) but you are more than welcome to arrange you re own courier if you can get it cheaper. I can often arrange free delivery in the north of Scotland, ie Dundee, Perth, Aberdeen/shire, Inverness etc but please just ask prior to auction end just to meke sure I can get it to you rather than just assuming.
