Briggs And Stratton Engine On Snapper For Spares

I have for auction a snapper ride on lawn mower with a Briggs Stratton INTEK 13.5hp vertical shaft engine fitted. The engine replaced an old 9hp engine and subsequently the gear box on the mower promptly gave up. The attached engine has done less than 40 hrs work but has been standing for over 3 years. It will start using the pull cord which is very usefull but only if petrol is tipped down the air filter, it appears the solinoid in the carb is not letting fuel through. As I understood when I bought this engine (for over £600.00) it will replace most vertical shaft B S engines of this size. Sold for spares only and no return. Collection only following payment.
